The history of Les Ateliers Lozeau
1996
François DesRosiers gives the first workshop at 6229 St-Hubert Street in the old Lozeau store. The first workshops were in the store on the corner of a desk with 5 to 6 clients.
1997
The first official classroom was emerging at 6224 St-Hubert Street with new workshops.
2002
Given the increased demand from clients and the lack of space in the premises of the store at 6224 rue St-Hubert, Lozeau had to move the workshops at 6229 St-Hubert Street. Two large classrooms, a variety of workshops and the arrival of other photography enthusiasts speakers.
2004
Lozeau moves to 6229 St-Hubert Street in a new 36,000-square-foot building. A complete workshop department with two classrooms, a reception counter to meet customer and also workshops even more developed and custom on the various facets of photography is built in these new premises:
- Introduction to photography;
- Exploration of digital cameras;
- Introduction to image processing software;
- Workshops of specialization;
- Studio with models.
And, available seven days a week with an employee to meet customer needs.
Lozeau and Lozeau Workshops innovate in creating Lozeau gallery offering to all the photo enthusiast a place for photo exhibition. A vernissage is also available free of charge to the Exhibitor to promote their work and attracts many people.
2008
Lozeau workshops acquires MAC computers and offers to their client useful workshops on image processing software.
2010
Lozeau workshops still innovates in offering to Lozeau customer a flexible schedule of private workshops on-site or via the Internet, 7 days a week, by sessions of 1 h 30.
Another Service is put forward : FREE various workshops on photography or new products by our speakers for the pleasure of the customer. Every month, a new schedule is posted on Lozeau.com website
2011
Something new on Lozeau.com : Web clips produced and created by Lozeau Workshops. These web clips contain capsules about studio and also about the latest news in the photography market. A web clip is published weekly throughout the year.
